What is Round-robin?
Every participant plays against every other participant (or within groups).
Points are awarded for wins (and sometimes for legs won/lost).
Top players advance based on their results.
DETAILS :
Advantages Ensures all players get multiple matches. Reduces the effect of one bad game eliminating a player. Fairer assessment of consistent performance. Disadvantages Longer format—time-consuming. Potential for “dead rubbers” (matches with no effect on outcome).
