KEY CONCEPTS
Rhythm and Muscle Memory Development
Purpose:
Build a repeatable, pressure-proof throw through consistent practice patterns.
Teaching Breakdown:
Rhythm
Develop a consistent pre-throw routine: set feet, settle grip, breathe, throw.
Throw at a natural pace — neither rushed nor overly slow.
Use the same rhythm for every dart, regardless of score situation.
Muscle Memory
Repetition trains the body to reproduce the same movement without conscious thought.
Practice with focused drills (e.g., 100 throws at T20, tracking hits).
Quality over quantity: perfect form repeated beats sloppy repetition.
