Focus Cues: 


  • Teach the use of breathing patterns, eye-fixation points, and internal mantras (e.g., “line it, launch it”). 


Mental Rehearsal:


  • Use visualisation drills to play out perfect throws in the mind. 


Mindfulness: 


  • Introduce simple 2–5 min mindfulness sessions at the start of training. 


Routine Building: 

  • Players should develop consistent pre-throw routines that act as mental anchors under pressure.
